Our Values
Transparency
To make decisions made by the government such as the annual budget accessible to the public as well as to make most if not all actions taken by the government known to the citizens. This is also aimed at abolishing corruption.
Resilience
In the face of adversity, we will continue to uphold our principles and values and fight on for the sake of our people. Even if the odds are stacked up against us, we will do all within our power to lead Singaporeans responsibly and effectively and most importantly, with heart.
Trustworthiness
We hope to be the shoulder for the people of Singapore to lean on, to be reliable and corrupt-free. In this world whereby corruption in a government is not unheard of, we have seen how ugly the effects of an unreliable government is. We want to be the government that its people can rely on, can trust. We do not believe in corruption and seek the people’s trust in order for us to move forward into the future as one nation.
Equality
To ensure that Singaporeans of different statuses are fairly treated and no biasness in creating new policies. Singaporeans will then have equal opportunities but not limited to housing, jobs and education, hence no Singaporeans will be left out of any benefits. This will also pleased the Singaporeans who are feeling unsatisfied with the immigrants for competing with them for opportunities.
Empathy
We have the same beliefs and morals as the people of the nation, thus we see eye-to-eye with them with regards to our aims and goals for the future of Singapore. in addition to this, we understand the problems and suffering of the people as well, keeping in mind that we have the interests of our fellow countrymen at heart. We seek to further understand what they are currently going through in this day and age living in Singapore and we strongly hope that we will be able to improve their lives here, for which they truly deserve.
Meritocracy
To ensure that all Singaporeans are able to get rewarded based on their own hard work and talent. This ensures all Singaporeans to work hard in what they do in order to get rewarded. Meritocracy also ensures that everyone is given an opportunity to achieve their best, giving them the ability to develop their potential to the fullest.
Farsightedness
Policies and decisions made by us have lasting solutions and are aimed at tackling issues faced at present, as well as to prevent or resolve in advance, problems we, as a country, might face in the future. Solving a problem before it arises will deter its associated negative consequences which could possibly have a serious impact on the people of Singapore, should the issue be allowed to arise.
